This blog contains the letters of five generations of my family starting with my g-g-g-mother, Sara Pryor Chuning. Most of the letters are addressed to Sara's daughter Edna, who lived in her home in Orange for many years, which is probably why these letters survived. Family members emigrated from Montana to Southern California, settling in L.A., San Diego, and Orange. Through letters, the women stayed actively involved in each other’s lives for 50 years.
