Dear Mama:
Summer really came in with a bang, didn't it. We're sitting here tonight sweltering and I have fine sunburn. We were at the cabin this week & they opened the pool. It's the first nice week-end we've had up there since Christmastime.
Harold had a nice birthday and thank you for the nice sox. He got two pair of matching swim trunks & shirts, a sportsshirt, 2 pair of denim slacks & underwear.
Carol graduates in 2 weeks - seh's going to stay here and take her nursing at Chaffee College next year. It's a new course here and we're glad she won't have to leave home.
Mother said you were pretty sick with a cold awhile back. Dennis just getting over on & for once it didn't get serious & require expensive medicine.
We're taking Carol to San Diego the 15th. Bobbie needs her the 17th. She'll only stay 4 weeks this summer though. She's going to be a counsellor at a church camp the 14th of July & we'll ben in the mountains most of August on our vacation. We're getting the cabin fixed up so it's comfortable now.
I suppose Mary will be at the beach soon. How is Betty feeling now - give my love to them all.
