Dearest folks:-
Just a note to thank you for my gifts. Iwas remembered by all my family. Besides $50 in money I received many other things.
We had a big Christmas dinner. I have not heard any plans for today. Just we three here, now - 1 o'clock. I do not see any preparations for dinner. They may decide to go to Chuck Wagon. They serve such good meals and do not charge for kids under 5 and over 90. We always go to same one, on El Cajon.
Weather almost like summer. No sing of rain. We have heat in morning and late evening. How lucky we are to live in California. I heard on TV and in paper, way below zero in South Dakota.
David was down to Ann's for Christmas. He and Lynn came out to see us.
I am wondering how many are you today. Are Betty and Harold at home? I got crossword puzzzle paraphanalia [sic] from Betty. Ruth uses it so much and enjoys it. I just finished big big puzzle in Sunday paper.
I am written out so will close with heaps of love for all.
